Distribution Manager OpportunityKahala Brands, a globally recognized leader in quick-service restaurant franchising located in beautiful Scottsdale Arizona, currently has an opportunity for a Distribution Manager to join the headquarters team. Kahala franchisees and partners operate a portfolio of many quick-service restaurant brands including Cold Stone Creamery, Blimpie, TacoTime and Baja Fresh, among others, in over 20 countries around the world.The ideal candidate for this position will have a background in foodservice with extensive customer service and analytical skills. The candidate must also be proficient in Excel and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This position is currently based on a hybrid work schedule.Key Responsibilities:Distribution liaison to franchisees, brand teams, Area Developers, Purchasing and suppliersCollaborates with cross functional teams including, Research and Development, Project Management and PurchasingManages and resolves daily distribution opportunities with foodservice distributors and suppliersGenerates reporting and analyzes usage, pricing, depletion and complianceMonitors and maintains order guides and special order guides for brands/DCsExecutes accurate and on time Limited Time Offers with foodservice distributorsSupports Purchasing during supplier transitions and new item launchesCoordinates foodservice distribution services for new locations in new marketsParticipates in distributor business reviews and supplier meetingsManages discontinued and LTO inventory clean upWorks with DCs to manage slow moving and deadstock itemsSupports distribution consolidations and transitionsManages Quality Control issues with franchisees, distributors and suppliersWrite notifications for LTOs, new items, price changesWork directly with operations support teams and hold conference calls when necessaryAssist franchisees, suppliers and DCs with product recoveryRequest and manage freight quotesPersonal Attributes:Ability to excel in high pressure situations and a fast-paced work environmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to work in a team environment with a customer focused approachEnthusiastic and service-mindedRequirements:Advanced Excel skillsWord, Power Point and Microsoft Office skillsFull service or QSR experienceStrong customer service skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent judgement in identifying and escalating issuesFood service distribution experienceBenefits (Subject to Change):401(k) matching, including Roth options3 Medical insurance plansDental insuranceVision insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth savings accountLife insuranceShort-term disability insuranceLong-term disability insurancePaid time off (10 holidays, 3 weeks PTO)Tuition reimbursementReferral programWellness programsHybrid work schedule
