To support the Policy Practice, the full-time Research Scientist I will design and execute analytical studies, contribute to project proposals and budgets, and perform statistical analyses using large healthcare databases in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Design and execute analytical studies, protocols, and methods Contribute to the development of concept proposals, scopes of work, and analysis plans Perform descriptive and advanced statistical analysis using large patient and/or claims databases Required qualifications BA/BS or MA/MS in economics, mathematics, statistics, health policy, or related discipline 4+ years of experience in consulting, healthcare, academia, or the pharmaceutical/device industry Proficiency in statistical software packages such as SAS, SQL, and/or STATA Broad technical knowledge of health economics and policy research Working knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and/or econometric skills
